Artfully was engaged by Brisbane City Council to develop an Artwork Strategy and to curate and manage artist selection processes as part of a suburban centre improvement project in Graceville. A detailed profile of the centre was developed and artwork opportunities scoped and benchmarked. The resulting human-scaled and warmly theatrical artworks, Graceville Wunderkammer by Deb Mostert and Apparatus for Transtemporal Praedicto of Prodigium Futurum by Russell Anderson, take inspiration from the precinct’s heritage values and its boutique character which includes a much-loved local cinema.
